His Holiness Kyabje Lati Rinpoche went into Nirvana (passed away) at the age of 88 years old on 12/04/2010 in the morning at 5:25am(india time), in Dharamsala India. His Holiness Kyabje Lati Rinpoche was full of Dharma Wisdom and a very Compassionate Greatest Highest Lamas of Gaden. He had benefited the Monastery and all sentient beings during his existence.

The Gaden Shartse Education Project is going to offer prayers in every Monastery for His Holiness Kyabje Lati Rinpoche's Reincarnation (Rebirth soon) on his first seven days. H .E. Khen Rinpoche Jangchup Choeden arrived at Thubten Dhargye Ling Center (IN LONG BEACH, NEAR SACRAMENTO CITY, CALIFORNIA, USA) and will be giving teachings throughout much of March and part of April.

Day 2 afternoon is a question and answer session in Tibetan and Russian languages only.

The Gaden Shartse Monastery Education Project is organizing a World Peace Tour to U.S. and Europe lead by Ven. Geshe Dorje Gyaltsen.The purpose of the tour is to assist in maintenance of the monastery 1000 monks providing food, education, teachers, (purchase of textbooks and educational materials), medical-healthcare (engaging doctors), and preserving Buddha, Lama Tsong Khapa's teaching and etc.............

Bell and Light Offering Tower

His Holiness Kyabje Lati Rinpoche make offerings (sponsorship) to built - Bell and Light Offering Tower, which was completed on - August 5, 2009. The purpose of building this Bell Tower is specially for dharma debating session. Upon stricking the bell all Sanghas will have to assemble at the debating courtyard for debating. The Bell was specially cast and made with Tibetan mantra wordings.

His Eminence Kensur Rinpoche Jampa Yeshe made offerings to Gaden Shartse Prayer Hall - auspicious silk decorations consist of 48 Kaben (silk pillar hangers), 1 Dug (silk victory umbrella), 4 Gyaltshan (silk victory banners), a set of Namza (protector Setrap banner), etc and puja offering. School of Education

Gaden Shartse Norling college- Education in all aspects of Buddhist Philosophy and practice is the focal point of the academic program. The duration of the monastic education is 24 years.Accommodation, food and education are all provided for by Gaden Shartse Monastery Education Development Project. Shartse offers complete basic courses in Tibetan History, Literature, Poetry, Grammar, English, and Mathematics, which are studied as prerequisites for the more advanced courses of Elementary Dialectics, Buddhist Logic, The Six Perfections, the Prajnaparamita (the study of Wisdom/ the Heart Sutra), Madhyamika (Middel Way) Philosophy, Vinaya (Ethics), and Abidharma (Epistomology). it is also compulsory to study Buddhist Sutra and Tantra. Additionally, there are optional subjects such as Painting, Calligraphy, Tailoring, Tibetan Butter Sculpture formation, and Sand mandala creation. The training program also encourages its students to independently pursue and practice profound Buddhist rituals and to complete extensive solitary retreats.
